The Powerhouse Film Club is kicking off with an event to celebrate the art and creativity of cinema. We're proud to announce the first ever Powerhouse Film Club Short Film Festival - "Reflections".
A short film is a visual story—told in a matter of minutes. Often these artistic stories provide a springboard for discussion about the deeper issues of life. We will be showing 7-10 short films at our festival, and discussing them in a cool, casual atmosphere.
We hope this will provide a setting for people who share the common interest of film and movies to meet and have fun and watch short films from different parts of the world that will provoke discussions and make us think about various issues around us.
Please join us on Saturday, the 6th of December 2008 at 6pm for an evening of fun, entertainment and reflection.

Go through Anna Arch
Take a left onto Poonamallee High Road
Drive straight until the first signal,
Take a U-turn
Take the first left after you u-turn (Tasmac Wines at the corner/ Big "MR Hospitals" sign)
Go down that Road (Govindan Street)
Go past M.R. Hospital
Take the right after the shops 'Maha Creations' , Bharath Medicals, Reliance Mobile, (You will see a sign for Stylo Travels directly in front of you)
Go straight down that road past 'Tamilnadu Hairstyle' :-)
Go past IID Head Office (on your right)
You will see a huge black gate on your right - turn into that gate.
From Chetput / Kilpauk
If you're on Poonamallee High Road, drive down until the Nelson Manickam Road Junction
At the signal go straight (go towards the left as the first turn is quite close)

Things to keep in mind:
For Parking (areas are mapped out in the attached document):
- You may park in the IID Training Centre Compound, or in the IID head office building or on the road
- Some people will be there to assist you in parking
- Please do NOT park in front of any houses / Apartments in such a way that it blocks their entrance
